 “I have been in the construction industry for the majority of my life, from framing, roofing, dry-walling, painting, plumbing, irrigation and landscaping. When I purchased my first home in Santa Clarita, even with all my experience, it was still one of the most stressful things that I have gone through.

And so, Top Dog Certified Home Inspections was born—a fusion of my construction background and passion for this industry. I made a deliberate choice: to channel my wealth of experience into becoming an InterNACHI Certified Home Inspector. Armed with years of practical know-how and the rigorous training provided by InterNACHI, I aced the final exams. But I didn’t stop there. In construction, there’s a golden rule: “If you’re going to do it, do it right the first time.” So, I pushed forward, and that journey naturally led me to expand into Commercial Property Inspections. During my inspections, I encountered mold-related damages—an intriguing phenomenon. How could such a seemingly small microorganism wreak havoc on both property and health? This curiosity drove me to delve deeper. I embarked on extensive studies in IICRC S520 Mold and Mold Remediation education. The result? I’m now a Certified Indoor Environmental Professional (IEP). With this credential, I collaborate directly with EMLAP-accredited laboratories, ensuring my clients’ well-being—protecting their health, families, and properties.   

Embracing technological advancements is essential in any field, especially when it comes to serving clients effectively. Becoming a Certified Infrared Technician was a smart move! Infrared technology allows you to see beyond what the naked eye perceives, revealing hidden issues. Whether it’s detecting insulation gaps, electrical hotspots, or moisture intrusion, the ability to catch those subtle anomalies ensures thorough inspections.

I went through this strenuous process for one simple reason: This isn't just a job to me. Top Dog Inspections is an accumulation of all my hard work, long nights, heart, sweat, and more sweat!
